U.S. Chief Technology Officer Chopra to Step Down

Chopra was appointed CTO in 2009and has served in addition as associate director for technology within the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.

As CTO, Chopra advocated for the use of technology to improve patient care and reduce costs. In 2011, he was No. 39 on Modern Healthcare's list of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare.
