Although physician practices are generally optimistic about being prepared for the October 1, 2015, transition date for ICD-10, only 21% admitted they are currently on track with preparations, according to a survey from Navicure in conjuntion with Porter Research.

This survey represents the third of its kind to assess ICD-10 readiness from Navicure, and the results show preparedness varies widely. A majority (81%) of practices expect to be ready in time, and overall optimism for ICD-10 readiness is high. The survey focus on issues of timing, readiness, and challenges for ICD-10 implementation.
