An article from The American Journal of Managed Care® was included in the National Pharmaceutical Council’s Wednesday CER Daily Newsfeed. The article, “Engaging Employees in Health Benefit Design Increases Satisfaction With Coverage Options,” covered findings from a case study that found that when employees are meaningfully engaged in deliberating and designing their healthcare benefits, they are more likely to have a positive view of their coverage options. During the case study, employees were also more willing to have less robust coverage in certain areas like dental so that the group could have access to more comprehensive mental health and maternity coverage.
