An article published in BenefitsPRO referenced a study published in the September 2025 issue of The American Journal of Managed Care®. The study, “Impact of More Primary Care Visits on Commercial Health Care Costs,” found a relationship between health care expenditures and primary care visit frequency, with more frequent primary care visits associated with incremental reductions in expenditures for those with higher underlying clinical complexity.
