Becker’s Hospital Review followed this week’s coverage of the comparatively modest 2017 premium increases for OMNIA’s plans, which are offered on the exchanges by Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. A year after their contentious debut, OMNIA’s bronze and silver plans, which account for more than 90% of the enrollees, will see increases of about 6% or less, according to the insurer. A report on AJMC.com discussed how the OMNIA increases were far lower than the average increase of 25% for benchmark silver plans, as reported this week by HHS.
