An article from The Daily Philadelphian cited an article published in a June 2017 supplement of The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®). The supplement article, “Overview of Atopic Dermatitis,” indicated that the incidence of atopic dermatitis has increased 2- to 3-fold in industrialized nations, affecting approximately 15% to 20% of children and 1% to 3% of adults worldwide.

A piece by The Asbury Collegian referenced a contributor article published on AJMC.com, the website of AJMC®. The article, “The Deadly Costs of Insulin,” highlighted a 1200% increase on the original price of insulin, with a 1-month supply of insulin now costing about $275 compared with $21 in 1996.
