An article from News 12 Connecticut referenced an article published on AJMC.com, the website of The American Journal of Managed Care®.(AJMC®) The article, “5 Things Everyone Should Know for National Immunization Awareness Month,” focused on the knowledge that everyone should have about vaccines going into the awareness month, including that vaccination programs have saved 154 million lives over the past 50 years.
An article from AJMC entitled, “Experts Encourage Use of GLP-1s in Cardiovascular Care,” was referenced in an article from Becker’s ASC Review. The article from AJMC covered a session held during the ASPC 2025 Congress on CVD Prevention specifically calling on cardiologists to increase their use of glucagon-like peptide-1 inhibitors to prevent cardiovascular events.
