Switching clinically eligible patients from IV to oral medications can lower the yearly cost of healthcare, according to a recent study published online in Clinical Therapeutics.

Researchers from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore reviewed four costly medications and determined that the potential impact on hospital savings could be substantial.
