Rick Abbott will take on the role of senior vice president of employer solutions at Priority Health, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, beginning July 31.
Grand Rapids, Michigan — On July 31, Rick Abbott will step into the role of senior vice president of employer solutions at nonprofit Priority Health, succeeding Megan Schmidt who has been in the role since May 2021.
Abbott comes to Priority Health with a wealth of experience in the health care industry, including as cofounder and CEO of Lyn Health. In 2020, he was recognized as one of Modern Healthcare's Top 25 Emerging Leaders. Areas of focus in his new role will include product innovation, marketing, and wellness.
