On this week’s episode of Managed Care Cast, we have an insightful discussion to mark National Recovery Month and are joined by 2 leading experts in the addiction and recovery space: Matthew O. Hurford, MD, president/CEO, Community Care Behavioral Health Managed Care Organization, and vice president, Behavioral Health, UPMC Insurance Services Division, and Michael Lynch, MD, associate professor of emergency medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and an attending emergency physician and medical toxicologist at UPMC.
Together, they are at the forefront of advancing behavioral health care management and treatment and reducing the pervasive stigma surrounding the disease we call addiction.
