Kim Thiboldeaux Explains the New Patient Experience in Cancer Care
Patients are looking for more transparency when it comes to their treatment options so they can make informed decisions and "take control of their journey," Kim Thiboldeaux, chief executive officer of the Cancer Support Community, said at the National Comprehensive Cancer Network 20th Annual Conference.

Her organization tries to help educate patients so they and their families can work with healthcare teams to ensure they choose based on what’s important to them.
“[Patients] want to be able to make treatment decisions and decisions about their care with their eyes wide open,” Ms Thiboldeaux said.
