Articles by Becker’s Hospital Review and Medical Xpress referenced a study published in the January 2026 issue of The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®). The study, “Ambient AI Tool Adoption in US Hospitals and Associated Factors,” concluded that adoption of ambient artificial intelligence (AI) documentation tools through Epic electronic health record systems was associated with financial performance, workload, select structural characteristics, and ownership.

An article from Barron’s referenced an article published on AJMC.com, the website of AJMC. The article, “ICE Presence in Minnesota Health Care Settings Threatens Access to Essential Medical Care,” described the difficulties in getting patients of Hispanic/Latino and Somali descent to come to their health care appointments as the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents have increased their presence in Minnesota.

An AJMC.com article entitled “AI Seen as Key to Reducing Health Care Claim Denials, Survey Finds” was referenced in an article from PYMNTS. The piece summarized a survey that found that health care providers were facing mounting claim denials, data errors, and staffing shortages. AI was adopted by only 14% of those surveyed, despite 67% believing that implementation would improve claims processes.
