Mark Zitter Discusses Providing Telephone Counseling Services to End-of-Life Cancer Patients
Mark Zitter, Founder and CEO of The Zitter Group, in San Francisco and Millburn, NJ, and Chairman of Vital Decisions, talks about the company's telephone counseling service aimed lowering costs by assisting end-of-life oncology patients with making informed decisions about their care.
Mr. Zitter also discusses how Vital Decisions works with private and government payers, in addition to terminal cancer patients, with the overarching goal of eliminating unnecessary costs and care that these patients may not want or need. Once a patient reaches a final decision, the company assists with communicating the patient's wishes to their family and medical team.
