OBR Daily’s featured oncology news of Thursday, November 7, included an article from AJMC®’s sister site The Center for Biosimilars® titled “First Rituximab Biosimilar, Truxima, Launches in the United States.” The article highlighted the launch of Teva and Celltrion’s biosimilar rituximab, Truxima, which is being offered at a 10% discount to the list price of the reference product, Rituxan.
Next Avenue’s article on the use of telehealth for effective psychotherapy at home referenced a study from the January 2019 issue of AJMC®, titled “Patient and Clinician Experiences With Telehealth for Patient Follow-up Care,” which highlighted the convenience and efficacy of telemedicine.
An article posted on AAMC.org that described treatments available for migraine relief highlighted a 2018 study summary from AJMC® titled “Study Summary: Costs Associated With Migraine in the United States.” The study dicsussed the rising costs in migraine care and the need to curb these costs to limit productivity losses and economic burdens.
