A review of the upcoming schedule of the Institute for Value-Based Medicine.
As students around the country head to class, it’s “back to school” season for the Institute for Value-Based Medicine® (IVBM), part of The American Journal of Managed Care®.
Although health systems and oncology practices host IVBM sessions year-round, the weeks of late August and early September have historically been popular times for these sessions, which offer participants an informal setting to get clinical or health care delivery updates and to network with colleagues, health system leaders, regional health partners.
This week starts a busy stretch of IVBM sessions in both oncology and population health, featuring both recurring sessions and new partners. Locally produced IVBM sessions feature content developed by local chairs, and each one reflects the flavor and priorities of the host institution. No fee is required, and dinner and drinks are provided; advance registration is requested.
