Articles published in Becker’s Payer Issues and HMP Global Learning Network referenced a study published online early in October 2025 for The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®). The study, “Dual-Eligible Beneficiaries’ Grocery Supplemental Benefit Use and Health Care Utilization,” found that patients on Medicare Advantage who used grocery card supplemental benefits had a modest increase in doctor’s office visits, including annual wellness and primary care provider visits.

A study entitled “Assessment of Variation in Ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring Among Commercially Insured Patients,” published online early in August 2025 for AJMC, was referenced in an article published in HMP Global Learning Network. The study found that a specific long-term continuous monitor manufacturer had superior performance in diagnosing arrhythmia and leading to fewer cardiovascular events compared with other ambulatory cardiac monitors.

An article from NCHstats referenced an article published on AJMC.com, the website of AJMC. The article, “Remote Monitoring Program Cuts Heart Failure Readmissions in Half,” covered findings from UMass Memorial Health that found that a remote monitoring program was able to reduce 30-day readmissions in patients with congestive heart failure by 50%.
