Dr Cohen comments, "IBD is a chronic relapsing condition, you don't just stop your medicines." There have been many breakthroughs in medication adherence for managing IBD. For instance, Dr Cohen says once-a-day dosing ensures patients don't fall behind in taking their prescribed medications.
