Robert Galvin, MD, CEO, Equity Healthcare, The BlackStone Group, states that bundling is a payment reform model that will allow for high quality and lowered costs. Dr. Galvin says that global capitation, as opposed to bundling, is complicated and requires a highly developed system that takes several years to develop.
