National Speakers to Attend AJMC Diabetes Meeting
PLAINSBORO, N.J. — A lineup of national speakers will come to the Princeton Marriott at Forrestal in April for “Patient-Centered Diabetes Care: Putting Theory in Pratice,” which will bring together stakeholders in delivering high-quality care to those with diabetes under the requirements of healthcare reform.
The meeting will be April 10-11, 2014, at the Princeton Marriott at Forrestal. An evening reception with a speaker will be followed by a daylong conference. The American Journal of Managed Care, now in its 20th year of publication, is presenting Patient-Centered Diabetes Care as part of its effort to bring together providers, payers, policymakers, leaders of formularies from the nation’s insurance companies, and researchers from the pharmaceutical industry as the Affordable Care Act is implemented across the nation. In diabetes care, all have a hand in curbing this epidemic, which affects an estimated 26 million people in the United States, or an estimated 8 percent of the population.
