“The biggest question for many states is, are they going to be able to do the expansion their way, or is it going to be a one size fits all?” said Mr Salo.
States like Arkansas are taking a middle path between a pure Medicaid expansion, and a pure private sector model. These hybrid models are showing promise, and other states are watching Arkansas’ example.
