Dr Sachin Jain Encourages Use of Learning Health Systems

“I think we have to think more about the ethics of changing healthcare and why getting patients into accountable care organizations that improve quality and reduce costs is actually more of an ethical imperative than a business imperative,” Dr Jain says.
He adds that the technology that exists in today’s changing healthcare system allows for the perfect platform to embody a learning health system, as it allows for the application of electronic health record systems and date driven information to improve care.
