"Health insurance exchanges are the first step in the consumerization of the healthcare marketplace," said David Brailer, MD, PhD, chairman, Health Evolution Partners. Dr Brailer also says that health insurance exchanges will give consumers the ability to participate and give them a bigger role in their healthcare. The insurance marketplace will become more level and transparent allowing for a more accessible healthcare market.
