Bruce Feinberg, DO, Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, Cardinal Health Specialty Solutions, says cancer treatment is more than clinical guidelines, protocols, or individual drugs. For providers to deliver better quality and more cost effective cancer care, Dr Feinberg suggests that a collaborative approach is critical between payers and providers. To improve care delivery, for insatance, providers will need to communicate with payers on how changing reimbursement models can promote quality.
