An article published in Becker’s Hospital Review referenced a study published in the September 2025 issue of The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®). The study, “Health Care Utilization and Cost of Diagnostic Testing for Respiratory Infections,” highlighted the advantages of syndromic real-time polymerase chain reaction tests for respiratory infections when it comes to their economic impact.
An article from TheStreet referenced an article published on AJMC.com, the website of AJMC. The article, “5 Consequences If ACA Premium Subsidies End in 2026,” highlighted the immediate effects of the expiration of the subsidies included in the Affordable Care Act (ACA), which could drive up the cost of insurance for those covered by these plans.
An article from AJMC entitled, “Microplastics May Play Role in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis,” was referenced in an article from The Cooldown. The article from AJMC reported on findings that prolonged exposure to microplastics was associated with pulmonary interstitial fibrosis and could exacerbate idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis due to oxidative stress, inflammation of pulmonary cells, and mitochondrial damage.
