Articles from IT Wire referenced a study published in the February 2015 issue of The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®). The study, “Leveraging Remote Behavioral Health Interventions to Improve Medical Outcomes and Reduce Costs,” found that telehealth led to a reduction in all-cause hospital admissions, equal to a 31% reduction, and fewer hospital days overall, equal to a 48% decline.

An article from 8 News Now referenced an article published on AJMC.com, the website of AJMC. The article, “Trump’s New Tariffs Could Drive Up Health Care Costs, Experts Warn,” focused on how tariffs on imports could increase the costs of pharmaceuticals as well as make shortages worse in the US, as the US relies on China as a major producer of pharmaceutical ingredients.
