An article from News Medical & Life Sciences referenced a study published in the December 2024 issue of The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®). The study, “Out-of-Pocket Spending for Cardiac Rehabilitation and Adherence Among US Adults,” found that those who had higher out-of-pocket spending had lower adherence to cardiac rehabilitation.

An article from Becker’s GI & Endoscopy highlighted an article published on AJMC.com, the website of AJMC. The article highlighted, “Prioritizing Blood-Based Colorectal Cancer Tests May Lead to Higher Costs, Worse Outcomes,” reported on a study that found that fecal immunochemical tests were more effective in screening for colorectal cancer in both outcomes and in cost.
