The America’s Health Insurance Plans Fall Forum 2012 is taking place in Chicago’s Renaissance Hotel from December 3-5. Here are some of the topics and trends that will be discussed.
Day 1 features a pre-conference workshop presented by Krames StayWell featuring several speakers from organizations that are crafting new strategies for consumer engagement. Speakers will discuss new models to engage individual patients members within large, diverse populations; using social media to get members more involved in their health; and data-driven engagement strategies to drive clinical improvement and behavioral change.
Day 2 at the Fall Forum brings a full agenda. Attendees will have numerous concurrent sessions to choose from, and topics include the impact of telehealth healthcare reform; population health strategies to drive better care coordination; new data and analytic tools to evaluate payment reform initiatives; and risk adjustment strategies for health insurance exchanges.
Although Day 3 of the conference features several networking sessions for attendees, there are also scheduled discussions on new wellness programs and considerations that organizations must consider in order to comply with existing laws and regulations. Additionally, there are several sessions scheduled that will present new data on accountable care organization strategies and incentive tracking.
