This supplement to The American Journal of Managed Care describes patients with or at risk for opioid use disorder to facilitate early intervention and treatment, outline the clinical and economic impact of opioid misuse and the implementation of a REMS program into managed care practice, and distinguish between general and productspecific drug information surrounding different extended- release and long-acting opioid analgesics, including updated safety labeling.
