The content in this supplement to is based on a roundtable meeting and discussion with a multidisciplinary panel of clinical experts, managed care medical and pharmacy directors, Alzheimer’s disease (AD) advocates, and health economists.
This supplement describes the growing burden of AD, reviews pharmacologic treatment options for AD, and discusses trends and best practices in the management of AD, including the role of combination therapy. It also describes the economic burden of AD and reviews the economic implications of effective management of AD.
