Jesse Pines, MD, MBA, MSCE is professor of Emergency Medicine and Health Policy and director of the Office for Clinical Practice Innovation at George Washington University. He is a Visiting Scholar at Brookings Institution. He has written over 200 peer-reviewed articles and 3 books on emergency care, diagnostic testing, and quality. He has contributed to Slate, TIME, Wall Street Journal, and Emergency Physicians Monthly, and interviews for two podcasts: Urgent Matters and Clinical Practice Innovations.
